Acceptance
By signing up for, downloading, or using PingClaw, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What PingClaw is
PingClaw is a personal location utility. The iOS and Android apps send your phone's location to a PingClaw server (the hosted instance at pingclaw.me by default; users can self-host) so your AI assistant can answer location-aware questions. PingClaw is not a navigation, social, or sharing service.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, including your pairing token (used by the mobile app), API key (used by your AI agent), and web session. Anyone in possession of these credentials can read your stored location and modify your account. Rotate them from the dashboard or app settings if you suspect any have been exposed.
Acceptable use
Do not use PingClaw to:
- Track another person's location without their consent.
- Send falsified location data on behalf of a person who has not consented.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
Service availability
PingClaw is provided as-is, without uptime guarantees or service-level commitments. Maintenance, outages, and breaking changes can happen at any time.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard or the app. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible.
PingClaw may suspend or remove accounts found to be violating these terms.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingClaw is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. PingClaw is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of PingClaw after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
